"I got a non-toxic gel manicure. $65+tip. First time so 20% off. I mostly did it because the Sundays experience specifically sounded relaxing, even though I don’t usually wear polish on my nails and usually just cut and file them myself because I’m very natural/low tox and I just work full time at a grocery store so routine manis and color on my nails aren’t really a practical expenditure or realistic lifestyle choice for me most of the time. But my hands were looking really run down from work and my stress levels had been pretty high lately so I wanted to do something on a whim to make me feel pretty and relaxed. The experience didn’t disappoint and was exactly what I needed. Relaxing experience, friendly people, no toxic smells, good vibes, pleasant decor, clean, accommodating, complimentary tea, mediation in your ears while you just zone out with your eyes closed while they handle your hands very gently and respectfully and just feel like a butterfly landing on your fingers. And because it doesn’t stink, when the recording tells you to breathe deeply you actually can. And my result came out beautiful. Loved it! But then after less than 2 days the gel on one of my nails chipped. Not at work (I had been babying it at work by being careful and wearing gloves), but after hot water in my shower. But they said they always fix it no charge if it’s within 7 days, so I didn’t sweat it. Went and had that done, had a lovely time, and was happy. But then a few days later right as the 7 days window passed, the gel on two more nails chipped, and the gel on one lifted so I had to peel it off. All this again, after being exposed to a hot shower. And I have to shower every day as to be expected. And I knew the policy so I didn’t bother asking to have it fixed. But now I’m going to have to go get all the gel removed, to avoid more peeling damaging my nails, and because now with how much has come off it looks worse than if I had gotten a manicure at all, and I’m starting to miss my no fuss bare nails. If I had high disposable income and didn’t work a hand heavy job I’d probably not even care how long the gel lasts and just go regularly for the relaxing vibes and pretty hands. But because I have low disposable income and work with my hands all day, spending $65+tip once a week or even once a month would be a lot for me. So when I get a gel manicure I assume it’ll last 3 weeks, not a week. I won’t be getting the gel again. I’ll probably just get the signature mani whenever I have a special occasion or am feeling extra stressed. Because I do want to come back occasionally, but the gel doesn’t seem worth it. I’d also recommend coming early so you can drink the complimentary tea before they get started so your hands won’t be occupied (the ginger honey one is wonderful), and also so you can go to the bathroom and wash your hands first, because they get started right away and while they do soak them you’ll only get a chance to wash your hands if you ask. This surprised me with it being my first time because I came in off the street after just having eaten in the park and they just got started with the soak immediately but if I’d have known I would have gone to the bathroom first. Honestly I hate complaining about anything though because it’s so rare for me to do stuff like this for myself and it just felt so good to be pampered at all and they were so kind and I know they’re trying to run a lovely concept so I genuinely wish this chain the best."

"I recently treated myself to a manicure and pedicure with paraffin wax at Sunday’s Nail Studio, and it was such a luxe, self-care experience. From the moment I walked in, the space felt calm, clean, and super elevated—definitely not your average nail salon. The manicure and pedicure were done with so much attention to detail, and you can really tell they prioritize nail health. But the highlight for me was the paraffin wax treatment—it felt incredibly soothing, deeply moisturizing, and left my hands and feet unbelievably soft and refreshed. Everything felt hygienic, relaxing, and intentional, which made the whole experience even better. It’s the perfect place if you’re looking to unwind while still getting high-quality results. Highly recommend if you want a clean, minimal, and wellness-focused nail experience 🤍✨ My favorite technicians are Blanca and Hilda!"

"This was my second visit and I’ll definitely be back again. So far I’ve had Maria and Veronica and both of them did a beautiful job. The manicure is relaxing and meticulous. After my first visit I was moving and opening boxes/assembling furniture/etc. and being so rough with my nails but they held up great! The salon is clean, the staff are friendly, and the work is excellent. My new go to in the city."
